Original Stylus Staff Bio

A native of McKeesport, PA, Jim Storch comes from a family of 6 - almost all of whom have strong interests in music. He also credits his fascination with music to early exposure to the Beatles, Beethoven (via the "Peanuts" specials), and Dizzy Gillespie (from when he appeared on "The Muppet Show"). He's a University Of Pittsburgh graduate, and has also DJed for WRCT and WYEP. Currently, he works as a bookseller for an evil corporate chain. Besides records, his interests include collecting percussion instruments (none of which he plays well), old cartoons, and complaining about the Bush administration. He currently resides in Dormont, PA.
