Original Stylus Staff Bio
Clay Jarvis was born like most Canadians -- with both a cold and a devout sense of inferiority -- in 1978 and immediately sought to become something the world would respect: a music journalist. To supplement the income he receives from writing for Stylus Magazine, Nazi Bridal Guide and Fat Snatch, Clay is assistant manager of one of Western Canada’s finest independent record stores, the Vinyl Exchange, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Presently and pastly, he has performed in a number of competent local bands: the History of Porn, Unity Ensemble, Hyenas Will Crush Your Bones Tonight, Jump You Pussy and Road Movie.
