Provided, that is, you've got the cash. But then, how hard is getting the cash? Hell, anyone can be successful in this brave new world. The poorest kids come up from the streets, getting by on their wits alone - to be kings of the world! Royalty! Just look at, er.. um.. well, examples are unimportant! The fact is, anyone can do anything, such is the great state of the world! We're at a new high, a peak of culture and refinement!

You're in a band? Sure! Why not? You don't need a real job these days, you can get by on your music - you can make ART for a LIVING! The simple fact is, if there are enough people (and varying tastes) on this planet to account for scat-porn and rap-rock, you can certainly get by with a decent album of retro-trash!

Just look at Airwaves! They did it, and you can too! Disco may have died in 1979, but they don't care. And why should you! Just dance dance dance! What a glorious world! We're so privledged, we don't need to work! We dance! Infomaniac is the perfect soundtrack to this post millenial milieu!

The opening track is a stunner, it's everything you could hope for from a funk-obsessed indielectronica act! It's got the funk! It's groooovy! You can shake your ass! Or not! No one cares! Just listen! It's good! They take the groove and pile on layers layers layers of protools and other modern studio gimmickry!

Little known fact: You can make an album without any real instruments! Or talent!

The opener is a keeper, but the album falls fast and hard from there! The rest is crap! Well, not crap. But not good! It's all the same! But without the hooks!
