Burning Star Core - Blood Lightning 2007

The new one on No Quarter (Operator Dead Post Abandoned) is excellent as well. Maybe even a little sharper than this release.

Yeah, I just heard a lengthy and pretty fucking mighty song from "Operator Dead …" a couple of nights ago (on the radio! thank you Tyler Magill and WTJU). I have given up trying to keep up with everything people like Yeh put out, but these both have gotten pretty stellar nods. I am not a huge fan of the alien vocalising he sometimes traffics in, though it is pretty impressive on some levels, so whichever one has the least would be my choice. Thoughts?

Operator Dead is band-playing BxC, with those vox pieces left by the wayside. Vocals are on the disc, but they are fairly buried in the mix by the standard of Yeh's earlier work.
