Actually, this is his fourth album as DNTEL. He had two albums on Phthalo in '98 and '01. But those were more electronic anyway. It could be said that this is his second album in the lap-pop style, I guess.

this album sucks. i very very very patiently awaited a new Dntel album after the stellar life is full of possibilities. i don't normally allow myself to be letdown when a follow up is different from its predecessor. but this album just fucking blows. solid review though. good job.
