Jewel - Goodbye Alice in Wonderland

Why oh why would you even bother reviewing this cd? I'm not trying to be a music snob here, it just seems to me that there are so many bands/records worth recieving your attention that the new Jewel cd should be extremely low on the priority list.

Because she's hot. As much as people bagged Liz Phair for selling out to the Matrix, at least she can still write a good song about Blow Jobs (something I would have recommended for Jewel). A dirty pop-star is just a carbon copy compared to a dirty rock star. Jewel's got a good voice and should have committed it to something real (much like that 'cornflake girl' failed to do). Adult contempory is a dead carcass.
