Cannibal Corpse - Kill

I agree that this is definitely a solid album, but you neglected to mention the inexcusably awful artwork and layout. That's not the cover of a promo, that's the cover of the actual album, and it looks terrible. For one of the biggest death metal bands in the world on one of the most reputable labels, it boggles the mind.

The surprising thing is that it's still Vincent Locke doing the artwork. I actually don't mind the layout. The colors could pop out more, but I like the "Kill" in big letters. Maybe the merch for this album will actually be wearable in public!
