Nice work on calling out most Adams-crit for what it is - thwarted expectations. My love of Ryan is equal parts his knack with a tune and his refusal to put out the records anyone else expects. He is the defiantly upturned middle finger of the rock world and that's why he's loved and hated far beyond his actual influence.
