John Cale - Black Acetate

For all his purported interest in the Neptunes, a cursory listen to "Gravel Drive" would seem to indicate that Cale has in fact just discovered Daniel Lanois.

You do a lot of talking about his songwriting abilities, but he didn't write any of these songs... I understand the recording was done improvisationally over quite a short period of time.
