Autechre - Untilted

so far... i feel as if this is one of autechre's most listenable-to -all-the-way-through records as well as being one of their most subtle. when i first downloaded this from soulseek, i was convinced it was a fake, because on the surface it seemed so simple. but once i took a thorough listen on headphones, it was much more interesting than i had initially though. while it's more straightforward sounding than their recent stuff it's just as rich and interesting. one thing... i don't hear the FSoL/ Orb connection on the last track. i do hear a brief time warp into early 1980's egpytian lover style electro though.

It's an Autechre album I don't see myself getting tired of.

A good cd.

it's as good as anything they've yet done. I prefer the last one, but this is good
