I think that you are being to nice in this review. The album is completely insincere and coming from such a promising and revered band such as The Magnetic Fields, it's practically unlistenable. :(

C'mon guys..the record is infectious, fun and brimming with great hooks..which, the last time I looked(listened..) was what a great pop record should be.
