Wait: So which songs didn't you like?
And you mean John Schemersal.

I like "Shave" a whole lot, and then to an extent, "The Power Of Yawning" and "Daughter In The House Of Fools" (as evidenced by the bit about MIDI processing pissing me off).

Wow. This review is so wrong on so many levels it's jaw-dropping. Did Sam even get to the second half of the album which features its best moments? The amazing Skynrd-inspired guitar solo stuck in the middle of "Litter In the Glitter" is far from boring. How 'bout the triple-shot of "Utz", "Spanish Boots" and "Starcastic"? Nothing but great, punchy pop songs. I'll admit the album sounded a lot more tossed-off than High Society, but a 3!?

I concur with gloden. While the album has fewer songs than "High Society" (and thus, a lower ratio of brilliance:quantity), there isn't one song on the entire album I'd qualify as weak.

I think that this review's flippancy dictates how much effort was put into this lazy record, which is pretty clear.

It actually sort of sounds like most of your reviews.
