John Frusciante - Shadows Collide with People

to put it simply, this review is much better than the one i read on pitchfork. this cd is great, john f. is great. get this cd, its awesome. its the only cd of his i have, does anyone know what others are really good?

Hey patient, I agree, I can't stand reading Pitchfork's reviews. There are much better sites out there like this one I just found! As for Frusciante albums, definitely get "To Record Only Water For Ten Days." It is actually the best place to start for new solo fans I think - not as much production to swallow as "Shadows" but that comes secondary to John's completely honest song writing. Also, I'd recommend you eventually get all of the Record Collection series once you get comfortable with his style. This guy is way ahead of our time.
