'hairless heart' from lamb lies down.. is an irrefutable gem. & also, gentle giant's 'three friends' is so close to perfect it's not even fair. no shame in this game!
Anyone who enjoyed this article but already knew most of the bands needs to go find Procol Harum's Shine On Brightly and a fat bag of grass.
I've been predicting in vain for a while now that UZ and Magma would become hipster revival bands, a la Neu and Can, but not really counting on it. Still waiting for the Heldon, Art Bears and Samla Mammas Manna revivals too. In any case, thanks for the list!
I'm feel so lonely with my Henry Cow records now, echoing Mr. Leone's Art Bears comment. This time of year is great for prog records, too!
