Silent Hill - Movie Review

Not that I give a shit about this movie, but I've been to Centralia many times on my way up to Bloomsburg, PA. It's probably the weirdest place on the East Coast. I'd recommend that anyone with a few fat joints and some time to kill on a spare weekend makes the journey, parks their car, and scouts around for an hour or two. It's hard to believe at first that any city in America could possibly look like Centralia.

I've been to Centralia a bunch as well--my grandmother lives in Bloomsburg! It always scared the hell out of me when we were driving past. I'll have to track down that harper's article...

I also recommend James Finney Boylan's book Planets. It's a funny oddball novel set in Centralia, and you can find it used online for less than $1 pre-shipping.
