Since I saw this film last night, I felt compelled to respond to this review. I hope that no one takes Matosevic at face value. This review is overblown, indeed very poorly expressed. This is a very good piece of cinematic art, told from Sophie Scholl's point of view, insofar as that could be gleaned from the archival material. I am not offended that there were aspects of the film that were not to Matosevic's taste. I am offended by the churlish tone and the pretentious, but blowsy prose style affected by him.
