The Dukes of Hazzard - Movie Review

Ok. Johnny Knoxville, Sean William Scott and Jessica Simpson... did you think this would be good?

Was there *any* chance that this movie could have garnered a positive review from someone who thinks all television is a waste of time? Talk about a foregone conclusion. Why bother publishing this at all? "News flash: Writer with no appetite for silly humor not entertained by Dukes of Hazzard!!!"

Anyone that reads Faulkner for fun or juxtaposes a quote from Absolom, Absolom should not be reviewing Dukes of Hazzard, much less attempting to review the movie in the same way one would review classic literature. And not all TV is a waste of time; case in point: HBO, The History Channel, ESPN, etc.

Well, to be fair, I said that "most" TV is a waste of time, and I agree that the stations mentioned above are not. I also mention--in my assessment of J. Knoxville--that I like the TV show Jackass, which is a pretty silly kind of humour. The Faulkner, I admit, makes for an absurd juxtaposition, but that was more or less what I was going for. Thanks.
