And of course my favourite singer who should not be singing: Erick Sermon's brief Luther Vandross impersonation on "So Watcha [sp?] Sayin'"
"so AAAMAZING, and I've been waiting...!" Erick Sermon is one of the all-time greats of bad singing.
haha, but it wasn't just Bone Thugs N Harmony featuring Phil Collins... no no no, there was A VIDEO! With Phil COllins IN IT! Yes WITH bone thugs n harmony... so I'll do you all the biggest favour and just say: " http://www.blastro.com/artists/artistpage/Bone+Thugs+N+Harmony.html " nuff said. peace, Y.
I laughed the hardest here: _When Darren “The Human Beat Box” Robinson died of a heart attack in 1995, it is safe to say “All U Can Eat” would never seem funny again._ Does this make me a bad person?
Fat Lace Magazine had a feature once featuring a series of articles they never got around to writing, my favourite being "Das EFX On The Diggity-Death of their Miggidy-Moms".
The album went aluminum this is perhaps my favorite part. Fantastic article.
Man, I hope no one's trying to knock the grand-paranoid stomp of "Come With Me".
where's that stupid shit you guys call grime? o, i guess that's still cool.
Just listening to the new Lil Jon reminded me of a time-honored hip-hop gimmick you missed - the "virulent misogyny with token female emcee at the end" track! Almost like, "we can say whatever the fuck we want about bitches b/c we got one here to actually rap on the song!" Obviously Dre's the template, and now Lil Jon's charmingly followed in his footsteps - I know there are at least a few other examples I can't recall right now.
