Stycast #247: Jazz for Haters #009

The Stycast was Stylus Magazine’s podcast series, launched in April 2005, featuring curated music mixes by individual staff members with spoken introductions by Todd Burns. This was the 9th episode of Mallory O’Donnell’s Jazz for Haters, a podcast introducing jazz to skeptics and newcomers. The Wayback Machine was unable to preserve the mp3 of this podcast, but we’re presenting the track listing to give you a sense of what this episode was like to listen to.

Mallory attempts to eradicate memories of a very bad 80’s dance party playlist with some choice nuggets of synthpop but ends up ruminating on love and hate whilst wearing a very fetching pair of leg warmers…
