The Stycast was Stylus Magazine’s podcast series, launched in April 2005, featuring curated music mixes by individual staff members with spoken introductions by Todd Burns. This was the 17th episode of Erick Bieritz’s Slumberland, a podcast devoted to dreampop, shoegaze, and other hazy guitar music. The Wayback Machine was unable to preserve the mp3 of this podcast, but we’re presenting the track listing to give you a sense of what this episode was like to listen to.
This newest edition of Slumberland spreads the word about some music that stretches from France to Liverpool to Australia but shares more than a few border-crossing sonic characteristics.
