As you may or may not have noticed, my enthusiasm for movies in the past few months has been dwindling, considering the last several pieces I’ve written have been about petty garbage. It comes with the summer, a combination of the sweltering heat that confines me to my bedroom (the only room equipped with AC) and the whole influx of blockbusters that dominate theaters. I haven’t been watching very many films, and certainly haven’t been thinking much about the ones I have watched. In any case, I’ve been attempting to pull myself free of this slump and genuinely feel that I’m now on the road to recovery. I hope to resume my sincere love of films shortly and to have that once again reflected here at the site. Wish me luck!
